The whole point of her being there right now was not the actually snake, however. The ballerina had figured out her cat had a particular interest in snakes and since Lady was missing from her room, she supposed her own pet would be near that snake. Whatever its name was.
The sixth year slowed down her pace when she saw Cutty watching the snake and vice-versa.
