Behind one of the non-descript black doors leading away from the rotunda is a long, long corridor. The wooden walkway is covered at intervals with fine persian rugs and is of not too narrow a width so that several wizards may fit upon it walking side by side. Moulding caps the walls on either side of the corridor at the top and lines the bottom. Additionally there are doors that also line the walls absolutely identical to one another down to the last detail.
Perhaps you are in the mood for a little walk, or a long one as the case may be as the end of the corridor cannot be seen with the naked eye. If you've been here long enough, you may have heard the one about the corridor without end. They're talking about this place. In anycase, you've reached the cheat sheet to maneuvering in and out of The Department of Mysteries. Unless you are accompanied by or an Unspeakable yourself this room may not be much more than a treadmill to you, the floor moving in pace and direction with your foot steps but otherwise giving you no gain to access any of the doors.
