"I love chocolate." She grinned over at him. It was one of her favorites! Was he making her some hot chocolate? Ooooh. Why were the professors always SO cool about refreshments? Professor Morgan always made her hot cocoa, too, and Mr. Kitridge with his lemonade. Merlin. She needed to find a professor who did cookies...
BECAUSE COOKIES.
"Oh--" Eden chuckled and unfolded her notebook and uncapped her quill. "I just had...an article I was working on for the Quill?" she blushed slightly. "I'm in charge of the Creatures and Herbology centered articles. I wanted to do an article this time on..Abraxan races. And I kind of just wanted your opinion on Abraxan racing...if you had ever attended one...and if you're in favor of it, why? And if not--why not?" she asked all of this very clearly and not TOO fast. She had her quill poised, ready to write down whatever he said.
She wished she knew a charm...or had a Quick Quotes Quill. Then, this would be much easier.
"
Good," That this one did like chocolate. Javier could only imagine how awkward it would've been otherwise for anyone of that matter to have to explain otherwise. But he didn't need to fret over that as he handed her the cup of hot chocolate. The Creature Professor then did notice her hesitation to Lala which led him to say, "
She's very found of human contact in case you're wondering. You can pet her if you'd like." She had been trained not to bite unless necessarily and this wasn't one of those cases thankfully.
Now Javy knew what was going on. He had an idea, but this settled most of his own thoughts out as he nodded slowly after sipping his own chocolate drink. "
I see.." He had been aware of the Quill and may have read a few of their articles. As for the question on Abraxan racing, "
I have been to quite a few in my University days. It's no more different than the other sporting events that take place in providing entertainment and exposure to main competitors involved." Did Miss McGee need more of an elaboration? He would have no trouble providing it if needed.

I will take the into consideration but it sounds like I will have an advantage over other students if I do consider that." he grinned with glee. He heard Thompson pause and he didn't have any questions on the credits part.
Now he made a mental note to meet with his head of house. "No I haven't met with Bostros yet but I will soon." he told him with a firm nod. His heart sank when they wouldn't accept anything lower than a Exceed Expectations. He grinned sheepishly, "I mean I got an A in Care of Magical Creatures so I guess they won't accept me huh?" he asked bracing for the answer. He made sure to work extra hard in Defense Against the Dark Arts and in Charms. Kace nodded and asked, "Professor will you be able to help me get a journal and help me log stuff in?" he asked. "I mean not with all of it but just give me a head start?" he asked.
As Javier expected from his students in terms of effort at the very least. "
Excellent." Now as for his OWLs grade, Professor Thompson made a small waving off motion with his discouragement, "
How well you do on your NEWTs will take priority over your OWL grades. You'll just have to put some more effort in your entrance essay for them to accept you. Otherwise there are courses at the University you can take before applying to their department again in the future." A small smile then did appear, "
As long you have the journal provided, I'll be more than happy to help give you a few pointers on your entries."
