Taking the can down from his ear, Rooney managed an almost-scowl and hissed some sort of 'please stop' into the one he knew Cutty would hear from at the other end. "I'm eleven. And not a subject of a badly murmured 'accio'." And then the first year smiled, and raised the other tin can to his ear to await a response.

That was if his knots had worked well enough and Cutty had managed to understand him.

He also really hoped that this kid didn't use that line on real people?
