Dragging his bag across the floor behind him, Dalton slowly made his way into the furthest corner of the Common Room and flopped into a chair, dropping his bag to the floor underneath him. This 'trying' thing was HARD, man, and it was making him tired. All he wanted to do was was give up and stuff, and it was hardly like he'd done anything.
He'd barely even glanced at his homework, but turning up to lessons was difficult. When could he go home? He leant down and dug around in his backpack, pulling out the scruffy, crumpled copy of the comic Aled had sent to him only a few days ago. He should probably write back at some point soon, but he'd only written to Tristan a few weeks ago, and he needed to read the comic first.
Blerrrgh.
Having been sitting in her usual beanbag seat with her legs tucked up underneath her Hady's attention was fixated out the large window watching the water outside. It was typical of her to do this was she was in some type of thought and needed to be alone for a few moments. So she didn't entirely realize it when her cat Hagan hopped off her lap and padded across the room.
Hagan made his way for Dalton standing beside the boys leg and rubbing his head against his pants with a quiet mewing sound slowly circling around his leg.
Snapping from her daze when she heard her cat the third year shifted in her seat to look around. Spotting her kitty she let out a deep sigh. "Hagan come here...leave him alone.." She scolded half-heartedly. Yeah she wasn't one to scold anything really so this was a huge fail. Clearly the cat wasn't about to listen to her like he normally did making Hady rise to her feet and cross the room where she scooped the Calico Munchkin Cat into her arms giving a small smile at Dalton. "Sorry about him..he likes attention." |
