He had done this with his sister when they were smaller and sometimes at night strung the apparatus between their two bedrooms so they could tell jokes until they fell asleep. Now that he was older, it seemed a little ridiculous, but still, fond memories and whatever.
Eden thought this was really cool. Had she ever made tin-can phones? NOPE? But she had seen stuff about it in the movies. She had always WANTED to...and she wondered if really worked? She just couldn't see how it worked--but apparently it did.
She went to grab the needed supplies and glanced around for a partner as she did so. Hmph...everyone was pairing off...Eden didn't even mind who she partnered with, either...she grabbed two cans, a nail, and a hammer. Merlin. She hoped she didn't smash her finger..had someone already done it? Professor Moxley was certainly BRAVE to let them handle hammers like this.
OH! A little firstie! Eden smiled at the boy and approached..
."Wanna' be my partner?" she asked. Was she a scary seventh year? SHE certainly didn't think so, but then again, she was herself. She wasn't scary to..HERSELF?
