Norah, who was wondering if she'd have an entire rainbow on her by the time she was done with this homework, made her way over to the box of balloons to pick out another one. GREEN this time. Aw yeah. And it was extra big and everything! She held it in both hands again when she walked, this time jiggling it a little with each step because it made a radical noise each time. Ehehehe. She jiggled and jiggled and jiggled it until she was almost back to her spot, when the balloon slipped through her paint-covered fingers and landed with a loud SPLAT on the floor. And on her shoes. HER SHOES. "Scourgify!" Aaaaall better. She noted proudly that that was probably the fastest she'd ever done a spell, but desperate times called for desperate measures. They WERE her favoritest shoes, after all. Sparkly shoelaces counted for something, y'know.
With her mess all cleaned up (she could CLEAN, did ya see that mum?) she visited the box again and picked another green balloon which wasn't as big but at least it was green. The fourth year walked slowly and carefully back, not wanting to repeat the last time, and set the balloon on the ground lightly under the middle height targets. She could SO do this, right? Right. "Alarte Ascendare!" The balloon shot upwards just as the target she'd been aiming at passed right by and was replaced by a whole lot of empty space. The green balloon shot up past the height of the target, but not high enough to hit the ceiling, and came falling down again just in time for her to jump out of the way. Her shoes were safe, at least? "Scourgify!" All better, floor.
