This Gryffindor was decked out in all green and he was NOT happy about it. So this time when he went to the container full of balloons, he picked out a few hoping for red paint instead. Again he walked towards his empty corner, not like anyone would want to work there since he had managed to get green paint everywhere.... And set down the extra balloons he had picked up. Alright, this time he needed absolute concentration.
Wait a minute.
You know what was so evil about this task? It wasn't just measuring how well they knew the charm. It was also measuring their aim and how well they could follow moving targets. Totally unfair. Zander could only do one thing at a time. Or in this case, none of the above.
So this time when he brandished his wand, he didn't even pay attention to the targets. He was really just hoping to get the spell down perfectly and then worry about paint problems after wards. It only seemed like the best way to go about things. So ahem, brandishing his wand now and, "Alarte Ascendare!" with the full intention of getting the balloon to travel straight upwards into the air.
He had focused really hard and every thing HA going, going, going SPLAT. All over his shoes too. At least the first balloon somewhat made it up there. THIS one just made it half way before tumbling back down. Merlin's pants. He was going to be here forever. Angrily, he kicked off some of the paint before eyeing the balloons again. Focus, Adair. It's all about intention.
"Alarte Ascendare! ALARTE ASCENDARE!"
Boom.
That's how you do it.
Except next time, he'd have to try and hit a target because Merlin this ceiling was starting to look like the sky right as the sun was setting. Beautiful, but a mess of colors. And also, he may need to invest in new shoes. #THANKSQUIGLEY
