SIX AM, yo!
Adi never had problems getting up THAT early (unless he was realllly tired) and today was one of those days where he was obviously NOT. With the cold not bothering him much and with a flag and ruler stick out of the back pockets of his jeans, he jogged towards the Lake. It was a good day to jog. Hehe.
He paused at the water's edge when he arrived, looking out at the calm lake and wondering how much of the water he should go into to get started on the Astronomy homework. Hmmm.

She was still about 5 feet from the water, but it was better than last year when she wouldn't have even set foot on the beach.
"Classes have been okay." Margo admitted, she had seemed a little distance from the learning portion of Hogwarts this year so far, she was trying really she was, but there was some sort of mental block about it all for her this year. "The field trip was a blast!" Margo added thinking it was also he way to get away from her family for a while. After they had officialy found out that Marcus wasn't going to be attending Hogwarts her father resented her even more, for whatever reason. "Things went okay. You'd think with my mom being a witch that my dad wouldn't hate magic so much, but he was pretty angry that I was the only one accepted into Hogwarts, and now he seems like I shouldn't be going at all. I don't know what his problem is!" Ugh, Margo had had that sitting on her chest all summer, she was glad to finally have said it out loud.
"But enough about me!!! How's AJ?" That was her name right? Ugh, Margo felt awful now that she couldn't really remember Adi's girlfriend's name. She had only met her a handful of times after all.
Adi had not missed the relief Margo felt when he came away from the water. She positively RADIATED that emotion but she did take a few more steps towards the lake so Adi didn't push her to go any further. He would let her take it one step at a time.
"Looking for your friend the Squid?" he asked. Hehe. Adi would like to think that Bartholomew was one of Margo's first creature friends.
"Great! Any spell giving you a difficult time that you need a little coaching with?'' Margo did know she could ALWAYS ask him for help. She had until next term to bombard him with questions and stuff.
"Yep, it was. Diving in the water was the best part.'' The older Hufflepuff looked at his friend. He could not believe he hadn't asked this before. He guessed he had been so caught up with everything else during the trip that he forgot.
"Did you dive in?'' Maybe Margo had and it was only the Black Lake she had misgivings about.
O__O WHAT?!
"You're right where you're supposed to be,'' Adi stated firmly. How could her father not want her to stay at Hogwarts
? "Your mother... she'll stick up for you, right? She'll let you continue to attend Hogwarts?
Nope, not enough about Margo. Adi would get back to that topic later. But the subject that Margo had brought up had him feeling happier.
"She's alright. She's probably doing something crazy right now.'' That girl was unpredictable at times. Hehe.
