"I think that might be a bit of wishful thinking. Hogwarts is never peaceful." He chuckled softly as he leaned back onto his hands and crossed his legs at the ankles. "My parents sent me off to Durmstrang. Apparently there were too many distractions at Hogwarts." Well one big distraction by the name of Zahra Kettleburn.
He grinned over at her and noticed a little sparkle on the front of her robes. "And what do we have here?" He asked as he straightened up and getting a closer look. "Prefect huh? Congratulations."
"M'hm, even with that." She tapped a finger on her temple. "I have great memory." A beard, Merlin. All of a sudden she found herself wondering if Jeremiah could grow one too and if it'd be soft or scratchy. Maybe she could include that in the letter.
"You think?" she asked in vain, wrinkling her nose. Of course it was wishful thinking, but she wasn't losing hope...ish. "It's probably a good thing they did. How'd Durmstrang treat you?" She's heard lots of stuff, especially from her dad whom wanted her to go there in the first place.
Following his line of gaze, the Slytherin's cheeks tinted a rosy color. Right. The badge. She'd forgotten about that. "I...yeah. Thanks. Who would've thought, huh?"
