Felix huffed as she finally tumbled through the secret entrance into the common room. It was hard for a short person to keep up with so many fast moving giants. Not for the first time in her life she cursed her small stature. After catching her breath she was able to get a good look at her home for the next seven years.

She stood in the middle of the common room and soaked it all in. Her great-aunt Tomasina, her aunt Paris, her uncle Lucas, her father Dillon, and her cousin Israel, had all been students at Hogwarts sorted into Slytherin. It was a wonder the building was still standing. She was Slytherin royalty. She had some pretty big shoes to fill. This was either a good idea or she really was going to have to burn the place down to leave her mark.

Her cat Boo meowed from her cage. Felix had totally forgotten about the cat. "Oh my baby," she cooed. She set her carrier down and let the tiny creature out. Boo promptly marched off to explore the castle.

Felix found an empty armchair to pen a letter for her father and her aunt.
