Okay. Right. So. Now the aim was to get the crumpled ball a little HIGHER. Toby knew he could do the spell, got it on the first try and everything, perhaps it was his enthusiasm for flying or being able to visualise things in the air 'cause of Quidditch, but he'd managed it. Now... higher higher higher.

After quickly nudging the balled up parchment back to the middle of his desk, Toby cleared his throat and tried again, swishing his wand at the parchment in the grandest brandish he could think to muster.

"Alarte Ascendare!"

Again, the parchment shot up into the air, a little faster this time, and so a little further. It made it perhaps two feet higher than last time before gravity took hold once again. Toby caught it, this time, instead of letting it bounce back on the desk, in case it ended up bouncing way away.

It would have been fine to stop there, really, as the spell had totally WORKED. But Toby was gonna KEEP AT IT. He wanted to make the parchment reach new levels.
