"OOOOOPS. Thanks, Professor Quiggles--" and it slipped out. She had called him QUIGGLES. How....awkward. HOW AWKWARD. But she just flushed and cleared her throat before standing up to make the ANNOUNCEMENT about recycling.

"If anyone wants to recycle their parchment--there's a BOX up there--PLEASE BE AWARE, PEOPLE!" And she sat her little butt back down to continue practicing. The one and only EMMALEE QUINN was probably a bit of an influence on her...spending a good bit of time with the department head over the summer was...nice. It was almost like having a big sister.

MAYBE she should talk to Truebridge about THAT too, when she finally decided to make it over to her office. HMPH. It was...an idea, for sure.

"Alarte...Alarte..." There! "Alarte Ascendare..." how cool. HOW COOL. She thought she was ready to try it on the crumbled parchment. Giving her wand a little flourish, pointed at the ball, and said, clearly, "Alarte Ascendare!"

The parchment!ball lifted sliiiightly into the air but came back down fairly quickly.

Welp.
