So honestly, Tia had NO idea when or WHY she would need to shoot something into the air, so she just listened to her classmate's ideas. Benzi's thoughts about the quaffle sounded pretty reasonable, as did fireworks. Tia jotted a few of the thoughts down - just cause practical knowledge MIGHT be needed for OWLs and then listened as Quigley continued the lesson.
More information about the spell. It's not a levitation charm, which made sense, because they had Wingardium Leviosa. Strong spell though, required control in terms of how high or fast. Okay, she got that. Now time to practice, with a crumpled piece of parchment no less. She could handle that. Taking a blank sheet with hearts doodled on it with the initials ZA of parchment from her notebook, Tia crumpled it up and then set it aside next to her pet rock whilst she practiced reciting the incantation.
"A-lert As-cend-da" Tia said aloud. "A-lert As-cend-da"
