He spoke so fast. Rusty had taken in absolutely NOTHING of what had been said, and her notes were so smudged she didn't think she'd be able to read them. Were the older students just used to the professor or something? Cause people were acting like this was normal.

And then... they had to do magic? Rowan had only ever done ONE other spell EVER, and she wasn't convinced that she was going to be any good at this one. But then you never know unless you try. So she collected a water balloon from the front of the classroom and found a place out of the way to sit down.

So... he'd said concentration, so Rusty was gonna try her BEST to concentrate. She held her wand tightly in one hand, then closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Concentration.
