Feeling more awake from all the exercise, Lux headed back to her desk and took a seat on it. Eh, she didn't mind not using a chair; it wasn't every day that they got to try different seating arrangements in class and this made her feel taller. Getting comfy, she crossed her legs and gave her arms a good stretch.
Looking at the poster that Professor Quigley displayed for them, Lux knew immediately what the device was. She had been to plenty of muggle buildings before. Raising her hand she said, "that's an elevator. I've been in them loads of times and they are used in buildings to take people from one floor to another. Usually they work perfectly, but sometimes they malfunction and the people are trapped inside." Fortunately that had never happened to her, because she would probably have a panic attack even though she had never been claustrophobic like Bay. Being trapped in an elevator just sounded scary. |
