After Janelle's heart rate had returned to normal, she was able to focus on the class discussion......sort of. Then the next question was presented and she had to think. Why was the moon important? Hmmm. That was a hard one. She had some ideas, but they seemed pretty lame and besides her best idea had already been taken. Raising her hand, Janelle decided to add her two cents to the conversation.

"I think the moon is important because.......it gives us light at night.....well when it isn't cloudy. And it has something to do with the tides. i think it helps control them.....so that's important."
