Because he was a new student, Yoongi had to follow the Prefects with the rest of the first years. He had kept in the back of the line though as they walked to the Gryffindor Common Room. As the portrait of the Fat Lady opened up (he made sure to remember the password) and he climbed through the portrait hole, Yoongi had stopped and his mouth fell open.

This place was truly magnificent! He had loved the ceiling at the Great Hall and was surprised that it had been bewitched in here as well to look like the night sky. Was this because their Head of House was an astronomy teacher? It sure had his touch to it. Next what caught his attention were the water slides and he couldn’t wait to try them. He had only been here for half a day and it was already different than at his old school.

Spotting the Astronomy professor, Yoongi walked towards him immediately. “This place looks so good! I can’t believe this is my House now” He said as he looked around him for another second before turning back. “Oh , by the way Professor. I never got the chance to official get a pet rock, can I still have one?” because he liked them.

Next up was a man he had seen at the Staff table (Professor Quigley) and he smiled at him. “Hello! I’m Yoongi, new transfer student from Charms school” and oooh the ghost was here too! He was nice, maybe a bit grumpy over his name but who cared? “Sir Nicholas! Hi!” he waved both of his hands in the direction of the House Ghost.

Now…which one of the students should he befriend? First step was the male Prefect because it was good having a Prefect on your side. He walked resolutely towards the slightly older boy.“Thanks for your work of showing us the way here” good conversation opening right?
