Being a Knight was a little tougher than he thought it'd be, but he wasn't going to back down from his super secret task. He almost lost the group he was supposed to be with at the very start, needing to linger behind in the Great Hall for just a tad longer to gather the food the unknown ghost asked for, and more importantly, to conceal it before he caught up with everyone. Which is why he ended up carrying his cloak in a bundle in front of him, totally not looking suspicious or anything.
Nothing but air in this cloak here. Totally.
However, what kept him from cringing at the fact that onion gravy was coating his wrapped up fresh cleaned cloak was the wonderment that was Hogwarts. The castle was even larger than he imagined and a million times more amazing. Did everyone see the MOVING staircases? And the talking portraits?? AND...
Holy snaps, he could've exploded after realizing the portrait in front of them just OPENED and revealed a hidden passage into... Holy Merlin on a honeycomb popsicle. Was it possible for a mind to go numb? He couldn't look at and process everything in the Common Room fast enough. It was a mind overload. He was left staring with his mouth open at the ceiling that looked like the night sky.
