A little further down the table he couldn't help but overhear Adi's voice - not directed at him, but to others. Though when he turned his head to acknowledge the Puffer Prefect, he found he received a nod. Hey man! Zeke nodded back, grinning. It was pretty good to be back.

He seemed like a nice kid and one to have on your side.

The kid was okay, he decided, though he was VERY fresh. All sorts of fresh, and perhaps a little too Claw-like. At least he was easily impressed, that was a nice thing - for him at least. "Yep, sure do. He worked for my mum for a while, was an Auror, I guess this means he's teaching now." And THIS was something that would take some getting used to. As for the whole knowing people thing and not being a firstie anymore. "Yeah, time will fly and you'll make friends in no time." Most people did. Of course he couldn't say so for EVERYONE, but most people.

"Nice to meet'cha," he replied casually before introducing himself. "Zeke, third year."
