*Walking into the great hall, Noah still had an evil smirk plastered across his face. He had gotten even with Daisy for busting his leg last year. Finding a seat he sat down waiting for the food. But then he remembered something, this was where he met his friend. His friend that was now dead thanks to that dark forest. He had forgotten his promise that he had made to himself at the end of last term. That he would go after the dark creatures in the forest my his home. What would it prove? Nothing, and he knew that, but it might make him feel better. Noah never handled loss very well, big or small.
But he was distracted from his promise by his stupid family. His mother wanted to come back into his life now, after nine years. His mother was the last person he would ever want to get back into contact with but his sister and father had other plans. That spoiled his summer holidays for sure. But at least now he was back at Hogwarts away from his father and the chance of being forced to see his mother.*
"She didn't want us before, so why couldn't she just stay away..."
