The Wooden Bridge If you're looking to get from the Courtyard to the rest of the grounds then there's only one way of going about it and that's walking across the rickety old wooden bridge. Not to worry, there are charms in place to ensure the bridge does not collapse from under you but the antique feel of old wood is still present and gives the walk a nice--if not thrilling--atmosphere.
If you happen to peer over the edge, you'll notice a deep precipice-like structure below. It's a far fall to be certain with trees and rocks at the bottom and a rugged cliff face should you decide to climb down there. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately as the case is, there is nothing down there but said trees and rocks.
Occasionally the wooden floor creaks and if you stand still enough in the right breeze you can almost swear the bridge is moving but that is likely your imagination. |
