Her brunette hair tied up into a neat ponytail by her mother this morning before she went to work and wearing her navy blue leggings and a comfy top, Ruby Broadmoor arrived at camp with a timid smile. Daddy had dropped them off understanding that there would be adults there to supervise them and that he didn't need to stay. Ruby was sure that it was because he didn't like Quidditch much. He wasn't sporty at all. The little ten-year-old was nervous, other children were loud and judgemental and she found the vast majority of them intimidating. She arrived with her older sister, clinging to her arm tightly as they walked towards the section they’d been assigned. Thank Merlin they were in the same group.

There was another boy there as they arrived. Ruby looked at him cautiously but did not open her mouth to speak to them. Instead she turned to her Blonde haired counterpart. “We’ll stay together today won't we?” Her eyes were wide and worried she didn't fare well in large gatherings like this. In that respect she took after her father. The only other she knew was Cornelius whom she’d seen often at the Famouth Falcon’s practice pitch when Uncle Oliver (more affectionately referred to in the Broadmoor household as Broccoli) would take them down to practice. Cornelius was the son of the ‘big man’ there but he had yet to arrive.

She stopped walking when they got to the arena. Her blue eyes wandered up to take in what they would be flying around. The pitch didn't look too difficult and Ruby was certainly mastered when it came to actually getting herself off the ground. She hadn't chosen her favoured position yet neither, the brunette was willing to give everything a go.

In the hand that was not clinging to her sister was her trusted broom. It had been a present from Uncle Oliver and it was certainly her favourite broom to fly on. Daddy had also made mummy make it safer for her in case things went wrong. Ruby however was certain in her abilities that she could keep everything under control. She was holding onto the broom just as tightly as she was to Tabitha as she waited for further instruction.
