In the middle of the pitch, you will find nine to eleven year olds, group B. This group has more experience on brooms. These children will first learn basic chaser skills. Hoops at a lower level have been placed for them to try to throw a quaffle through them. Getting experience throwing the quaffle to teammates as well as through the hoops won’t be the all they learn at this fun filled camp. Each child will take a turn practicing being a keeper and trying to block the quaffle from going in the hoop. The group will also learn basic beater skills, getting to hit a softer ball that has been charmed to act like a bludger at target.
If a child does not bring their own broom, there are youth brooms available for the day supplied by Quality Quidditch Supplies. They have a set speed and height, which is a little faster and higher than training brooms for younger children. Kids- Cornelius Orion Baltazar (Deezerz)
