"An ambassador-at-large is a diplomat of the highest rank or a minister who is accredited to represent his country internationally. Though mostly I stay in the UK, I could be asked to travel to different countries to represent the UK if there was a huge problem that one of our ambassadors couldn't represent us for." he explained, hoping that would give her the general oversight.

"I learnt as much as possible. I wouldn't say I'm fluent, but I can understand it and respond accordingly." He tried to learn something new everywhere he went.

Her apology made Charles look twice at the woman in surprise. "It's okay. You weren't to know and to be honest, no one really asks me about myself, so it was new to me." he shrugged. "Forget about it."
