..Worm-like tubers? BLEGH. That sounded really gross. Lux made a face.

First things first she would need to break the pod open with something. She grabbed a knife, pestle, and mortar off the shelf and tried to decide which method to try first.
HUFFLEPUFF HIGH FIVE. Heck yeah! Toby beamed at Lux as they high-fived and celebrated a JOB WELL DONE. He noticed that she'd not had the same trouble he had had extricating herself from the vines after, and the contrast between them nearly set him off in a fit of giggles.

"SAME to YOU, Luxington!" Toby replied, topping that off with a SALUTE as he tuned back into what Professor Millard was telling them to do. ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT. Burst the pods, collect the tubers.

That wasn't too bad. Toby KNEW how to do that. Or at least... he knew that he knew, but he'd seemed to have forgotten what exactly it was that he knew he knew. Um. SO. Uh. He could EXPERIMENT, or check his textbook. Which... was lying around here somewhere. OR MAYBE if he went ahead and looked closer at the tools provided for pod-bursting, it might trigger the Herbology section of his memory, which was USUALLY well informed.

Sooooooooooo he went and did that, picking his pod back up in a gloved hand and going off to the shelf to see WHAT THE POTENTIAL TOOLS OF THE TRADE WERE.

And bouncing. Always bouncing. SO MUCH BOUNCING.
