Toby was very preoccupied with wrestling the vines, and when Lux spoke he looked up to see her put it in the bowl. "Good JOB!" Halfway there already! NICE. "Okay, gimme a sec..."
'Cause, y'know, he was a little tied up at the moment. Har har har. Because yep, the vines had hold of him and Toby was quite aware of those thorns threatening to poke through his sleeve. Oops. Hopefully Lux was better at tying knots than he'd been.
Then, HUZZAH! Toby was FREE, as were the vines, and he took a step back, grinning like that had been the best adventure of his life. "NICE! So... switch places?" YEAH? BOUNCEBOUNCE. Haha, gooooosh. Those vines had to be pretty tough if Toby was having that much trouble with them despite being so hyper. Lux had to wonder if he was taking a certain potion, or if something REALLY amazing had happened. Hmm, maybe she should ask him about it later - but for now they had a plant to deal with!
After a little work, he managed to extract himself and then it was time for them to do a switcheroo. "Okay, here goes nothing..." Biting her lip, Lux grabbed a hold of the plant, trying her hardest to restrain the vines.
PHEW.
It wasn't easy, but after a few moments - that felt like an eternity - she had them into what one might call a knot if they were being generous. "Okay, you got this." Hopefully. She was trying her best to keep the vines away and so far was succeeding. |
