While the kiddos were getting their gloves and hair nets on, Moxley glanced down at her watch and then headed for the door. She was expecting a delivery any moment and she didn’t want to miss it.

When a quiet knock sounded, the professor gave the class a smile and answered it, stepping out into the hall. Several trips later and she’d returned with mobile tray table carts placed at the end of each table in the room. On the top tray, delicious smelling, freshly prepared burgers sat in neat little stacks, charmed to be kept warm. Buns sat alongside them. The elves had helped with this, of course. On the bottom tray of each cart, every condiment you might imagine and also burger wrappers and some cheese. She also flicked her wand so that a barrel and a basket were placed at the opposite end of the table from the carts for finished and trash burgers. Did the children have any idea what they were doing yet? Moxley glanced around to see their reactions, curious.

Once it looked like everyone was ready to begin, the brunette cleared her throat and addressed the group. ”Now that our tools for the activity have arrived, we can get going on your challenge for today! Now it’s fairly obvious that working at a fast food restaurant is extremely different from being a postal worker or a medical professional. What all three of these jobs have in common, though, is the stress that can be involved. In a fast food restaurant, there will be times when workers are extremely busy, putting in and sending out orders as fast as they can without messing them up. That will be your challenge for today. Let’s see if you lot can handle that type of stress. Once you’ve completed the task, you’ll be able to enjoy a burger for yourself!” Work before rewards, as always.

”I’d like you to find a partner and then decide which jobs each of you will be responsible for. The jobs are the following: Placing a burger on a bun, adding the correct toppings, and wrapping the burger, and placing it into the basket so it’s ready to go. I’ll be putting up the orders on the white board so you know which type of burger to make!” Simple enough, yes? Heh. Not quite. ”Now as you might have noticed, the conveyer belts on your tables take up most of the work space. The trick to this challenge is that you need to prepare the burgers while they’re on the belts. The only time you should be lifting them is to place the BOTTOM bun under the burger and to wrap them. The belt will speed up as time goes on so be careful!” Because if you weren’t careful, your burgers would fly off the belt and into the waste bin before you had a chance to complete the order. ”Correctly made burgers should be placed in the basket next to your table.” Was that everything? Hmm.. ”Oh! I’ll be the one sending the burgers down the belts so don’t worry about that. Simply worry about putting on the correct toppings, the bun, and wrapping them!” Yes, that was it.

”I’ll begin sending the burgers down after everyone partners up!”

OOC: Okay, I know that was a lot to read so let’s get down to the basics. What do you need to do?
1. Find a partner for your charrie and decide who wants to do what? (Ex: I’ll wrap and add cheese, you do the bun and add condiments)
2. Start building burgers! YOU DON’T NEED TO WAIT FOR MOXLEY’S SAY SO, JUST PRETEND SHE SAID TO START.
3. Remember, Moxley is IC responsible for controlling the speed of the conveyor belt, sending burgers down it, and putting up orders. OOC, you guys can makeup which orders she's put up and how fast a speed your belt is currently at (Ex: Oh, new order up! Ketchup, Mustard, double cheese!).
4. I’m not concerned about post count for this. I’m looking for creativity and fun! Don’t be afraid to have your charries make a mess. I’m sure Moxley is expecting some mixups!
5. I have to wrap class up on Saturday, the 28th!
