"Serving food?" That was no big deal, seeing as there were food places witches and wizards worked at as well. It wasn't just muggles, except the way they worked it. Magic versus no magic. "At a muggle fast food restaurant," she added. Usually nice restaurants required fancier uniforms. Quote:

The word was hardly out of his mouth when he was joined by another Gryffindor and this time, it was the guy who was his brother from another mothee. "Dragon. Hallo.'' Sandwiched between the people he loved the most. AWESOMEEEE!

Awh, last lesson for the school year. That was too bad. The fifth year Hufflepuff always did enjoy Moxley and her classes. But she would be back next term, RIGHT? Fingers crossed, yo!
Right. Her uniform. Once more, Adi took a look at it even though he knew which profession she was referring to. It was quite easy to recognise, wasn't it? Well, for the wizarding folks who were into muggle stuff and those who lived among muggles. "Persons who serve food in the fast food industry.'' Food. Adi was feeling slightly hungry now. LOL. Quote:

Moxley would be back next year though, riiiight? She'd better be, or the Puffer would have to write a whole long letter to the headmistress, and Norah wasn't really one for letter writing. Or writing in general.
The fourteen year old put her hand in the air even before she'd taken a good look at the Professor's uniform, 'cause she knew stuff about muggles, yep. She'd seen people wearing that stuff when they went on 'road trips' which took FOREVER with gran 'n gramps 'cause they couldn't use floo powder or anything. Shame, really, 'cause 'road trips' seemed like a right old waste of time to her. "People who work with food wear those! But not the kind of food at those places with cloth napkins and shiny silverware; the other kind." She'd only eaten at those places when traveling, really. When they were in a hurry. "Are we gonna get to eat stuff, professor?" That'd be even MORE awesome. Quote:

It was not attractive, and Moxley was super pretty and should know better.
Dot wiggled her fingers, a hello and offer to answer. "Is it some sort of job where you make a statement about not caring at all about public perception? Because that hat is not really flattering and I think we can do better, Professor." Quote:

Anyway, it was pretty obvious what they were going to be studying. "Muggle fast food." Which Heather actually kind of liked. It was great in a pinch, or when one didn't know how to cook. Or when you needed a pizza real quick like. Yep, most useful invention ever. Quote:

Nope. She was much too peppy for that. Kind of like Professor Morgan... But less. Like a good balance between Professor Morgan and a pinch of Bellaire with a spritz of Flamsteed and a smidgen of-- Uh. What was he getting at again?
Oh yeah, the first question. THAT.
Ahem.
Well the answer was quite obvious and that much was made evident by the number of hands shooting into the air, but for some strange reason Zander raised his hand and without really thinking it through sort of just... "Burgers!".... Burgers weren't an occupational field... Were they? "Uh, what I meant was fast food chains... Uh, that." Moving ooooon. Quote:

The first question was easy, so she instantly raised her hand to answer. "I'd say the fast food industry!" Quote:

And there it was, the question. Toby FLUNG his hand enthusiastically up in the air and, with an unfortunate lack of volume control that he didn't even seem to be aware of, provided his answer. "FOOOOD!"
BIG GRINNING TOO HI HELLO. Quote:

Food was just...a gift, really. Food was great. Eden loved food as much as she loved Daisy and a little more than she loved Drago(the mean snake was mean, OKAY?).
She bounced a little in her seat..."Um--professor? DO WE GET TO EAT TODAY IN CLASS?" she asked, her tummy ROARING at the idea of FOOOOOOOD glorious food. "You'd move up the list of my favorite professors list if you did." You know, as if that was incentive.
But it SHOULD be incentive.. Quote:

It'd be so odd...
Focus, Simon.
He refocused himself on the lesson. What outfit was the Professor wearing? Yes, she was dressed like a staff of a fast food place, like a Macdonalds or Hungry Jacks. As soon as Zander had said burgers, Simon felt his stomach rumble. Yes, burgers would be delicious right now. And french fries too. Mmm.. The boy was making himself hungry just thinking about it. "The fast food industry?" Quote:

Also...maybe because she was so kind...? Gabe had never gotten a negative vibe from the woman. So...that was less terrifying. Perhaps? Who knew how his brain worked or what he thought half the time.
....and yes. Fast food. Muggle-style.
....and Eden's question made him wonder if the House Elves would be joining them.... Quote:

Not that Adrienne wasn't fond of Muggle Studies, but at times (okay, most of the time) she found it rather... boring. Muggles were boring! Who cared how they lived their dull, magic-less lives? At this point she was only following the class because it didn't look good to drop something after two years, and she needed to think about this sort of thing if she was going to go to university and excel in everything and eventually become Minister of Magic.
She made an effort to refocus herself when the professor started talking about actual class-related things. But uhhh... what was she wearing, actually? That hideous thing looked like something you'd be forced to wear as the torturous punishment for some horrible crime. What was written on the side of the hat, there? (If you could call that thing a hat). Fatso burger? What in the name of Merlin was that supposed to mean? "Uhh, food?" Adrienne guessed, going mostly by the word burger on the hat. She hoped the poor woman wasn't losing her mind, deciding voluntarily to look like a clown. Quote:

WOAH WOAH WOAH! JUST HOLD THE FREAKING PHONE!
They were talking about FOOD?! Really?
Okay NOW he was paying attention!
Grayson even sat up and everything, his eyes on Moxley and Moxley only. What could they be talking about in today's lesson? Well, that kinda explained the food part. And something else that explained all of this was the huge black conveyor belt type thing that was running across his desk. Even so, he still had a bunch of questions he wanted to ask, especially now tht he was actually interested.
But the most important question here was voiced by one Eden McGee and boy was he glad that she had brought it up. They couldn't not eat while talking about food. How did Moxley expect them to keep their hunger at bay? It was practically impossible, that's what it was.
So where was the food? Dude was starving! Apparently her outfit had given her away, meaning lots of repetitious answers. She should’ve expected as much, really. Teenagers sure did like to eat! ”Ding, ding, ding, ding!” Meredith called out, ringing an imaginary bell. ”Food is correct! Specifically, the fast food industry!” Well done. Also well done? Some of the responses being given because they had caused the professor to chuckle. The one from the red headed Slytherin keen on giving her fashion advice, in particular. ”Now as Miss Wojack-Gusey pointed out, the uniforms worn aren’t always the most fashion forward but they do have a purpose!” And they weren’t that uncomfortable either which was a huge plus! ”Just imagine how dirty these things get over the course of a day! You don’t want to be wearing a ball gown while flipping burgers! Cheap, easily cleaned, and appropriate. That’s what these uniforms are all about.” PAUSE. ”Also, I think the hats are kind of cute.” Moxley grinned a little and shrugged. ”As for those asking if we’ll be eating today, that really depends on YOU. I can’t say more than that.” WINK! They’d just have to wait for the activity. ”Now whether you’re living in the muggle world or the wizarding one, it’s clear that food is a necessity. We need food to live and many people look to make money off of that fact. The fast food industry is a prime example of that. Before we get into some specifics, can anyone guess why fast food is so popular? Please, just one reason from each of you.”
