Owls meant CONRAD a.k.a Gus's bestie. Speaking of his toad, Adi had no idea where the amphibian was. He hadn't seen it for the day though. Oh well. Gus always found his way back to Adi's dorm each night.

As Adi followed Professor Cassie into the Owlery, he kept looking around for the owl and toad duo. Gus happened to like hanging out in here and his owner found it a miracle that it hadn't been eaten. He strongly suspected Conrad scared away the other owls who tried to make a meal of Gus.

The Puffer focused on the owl his Professor was referring to. Poor little creature. "Can't he take some laps around the grounds?'' He hoped exercise was just the case.

Oh yeah! They were supposed to be mapping! Adi flipped his notebook to a new page to get started. Was there going to be something interesting here as well?
