~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ If there was one thing that was certain in situations like this, was that it was good to have allies. And the Hufflepuff (Adi) not only looked happy, but had acknowledged the presence of other students with a nod. And he was wearing a badge. Three plus points to make an unofficial alliance.
So, while the Professor was greeting the other students, Amur took the opportunity to discretely shuffle a few desks over. She gave the boy a return nod as she replaced her bag at the new desk.
And then she caught it. The near-twitching eye that the Professor was giving. Blinking, she tried to follow her gaze and see what it was that might have ignited her wrath. Happy student, happy student, happy student, sitting student, happy student ----
Amur's head snapped back and she blinked at Hady. Had the little Slytherin not been present during the faceoff between Bellaire and Quigely? Glancing between the two of them, Amur determined it was best to try and do something.
Before she had the opportunity to decide what that would be however, two other students came to the rescue. Good team work!
Shifting her weight, she watched the Professor warily. Perhaps, if need be, she could turn something into a dragon as a distraction. Mind you, there were probably less dangerous and more effective distractions that could be utilized. She put her mind to thinking of several, for present or future use.
