The arrival of Professor Flamsteed didn’t go unnoticed though. He could hardly ignore it given the thud, thud, THUDDING of that pet rock. But erm… Why’d it need a leash? Zander gave his Head of House a very awkward head nod—still quite unsure of where they stood—before turning his attention towards the Headmistress.
Of course they were splitting up into groups. Zander had already ruled out the Headmistress’s group because that’d be even MORE awkward than going with Professor Flamsteed. Which meant that Professor Botros was the safest bet and he was ABOUT to voice this decision when… welp. Sophie Brown happened. SOPHIE SOMEUNKNOWNMIDDLENAME BROWN. What was she trying to do here?? And now that, that was declared for the whole world to hear, Zander couldn’t really tell them that he wanted to be in another group. Didn’t want to give Professor Flamsteed the wrong impression or anything… Especially since… You know.
He did however give Sophie a very pointed ‘what are you trying to get at’ look, but followed her lead as she walked towards the Professor and uh, pet rock. Welp. Guess they were grouped up then.
