Ah good, more and more people were arriving... including Ethan, Zander, Sophie, Simon, Adi, Botros, Airey, and.... was that a rock. The pet rock? Seriously? The PET ROCK had needed to come on the tour of the castle? And why was it on a leash? WAS IT GOING TO RUN AWAY FROM HIM?!
Annie almost started laughing at her interior thoughts, now picturing long-legged Airey chasing after the rock with two googly eyes glued on it making its great escape. And it had a pink bow, yes, it had to have accessories. She had to actually take a slight step behind Botros to let her silent laughter out. Whew. Whewwwheheheheeee. Merlin. THAT ASTRONUT. At least nowadays she was laughing at him instead of admonishing him all the time.
So, back to the meeting. They had a decent turnout, and when Thorbert showed up, Annie decided it was time to start the mapping.
"Let's form groups, everyone, to cover all the floors we have today." She stepped back from her laughing-spot behind Abraham and subtly wiped the tears of laughter away from her eyes. "Professor Botros and Mr. Kenting will head to the fifth floor. I'll go to the sixth, and let's have Professor Flamsteed and Professor Morgan split up the seventh floor classrooms and common rooms."
Hopefully she would be able to coax Sophia into helping them once they got to the sixth floor. "Please enlist anyone you see into helping us, because we want to do a good job of covering everywhere on our list! Any questions before we begin?" Any suggestions, too, Mr. Kenting?
