Turning her head to look behind her one last time, she did in fact see the boy still staring at her. Why was he still doing that?! If only Ethan were here, she'd have somebody to hide behind. But clearly that wasn't going to happen.

If she had any nerve, she'd ask why he was staring so much.

But it didn't seem like that would be happening, seeing as to how she was so far away from him at this point & from the looks of it he seemed upset. That was when she felt really bad for some reason. It probably did come across as rude the way she sort of ran away. But how is one supposed to feel when an unknown stranger is handing you a flower?! That just didn't come across as normal to her.

...Perhaps she should go apologize to him...

Josette felt a little better as she approached this boy. She heard him him ask if she was alright & she cautiously shrugged a little bit as she neared closer. And just before she could even answer his question about her awkward situation, the horror of what she was expecting to happen...happened.

Without anticipating it, her left foot got caught somehow behind her right & she gasped as she began stumbling. She tried her best to maintain her balance, but it was no use & she saw the ground coming fast.

This night was turning out to be far from fun at the moment.
