Seeing as this was familiar territory for Pebbles, the astronomer had decided to bring his pet rock along on this little mapping excursion. After the whole staircase incident, she had been especially hesitant about taking their daily walks and thus only would willingly participate when the 7th floor was the focus. And even then...primarily the Astronomy Tower.

So he had had to carry her down the stairs and around a bit as they made their way to the starting point, but she was back to being on her leash which Airey gleefully held in his hand as he strolled along.

*THUD THUD THUD THUD*

The sound of rock against corridor floor announcing his arrival, the Astronomy professor greeted the humble crowd with a quick salute. "Reporting for duty," he said, lowering his hand back down to his side and giving Pebbles a quick wink.
