You know, the one nice thing about this whole foggy mind thing was that Zander could sort of forget that Kevin had been expelled from Hogwarts. Not that he wasn't still terribly upset about it because under normal circumstances, HE WOULD BE. But there was just something strange about the night. Something that probably had to do with that strange fog around the entire place. Made him forget, y'know? Like Kevin Hirase could actually be out there somewhere.
Except... He didn't see him.
Actually, Zander couldn't see anyone he knew. You'd think that the masks would only hide identity temporarily, but Zander was having the hardest time identifying ANYONE. Did all these people really go to school here? Ahem. Okay so he sort of knew about the whole spell thing, but he was going to pretend too. It was easier that way. He'd go back to reality again tomorrow. But for tonight, things were different. At least let him have that much.
ANYWAYS, carriage rides. He wanted to check these out and it had absolutely everything to do with the fact that Hippogriffs are AMAZING creatures. Ahem. Especially the one they met in class. He practically RAN over to them. Erm, was there anyone around that wanted to join him? Because he was looking. Couldn't go on a carriage ride by himself, you know? That'd be lame. So instead of actually getting into one, he sort of just stood around looking. Maybe he'd finally recognize someone... Unlikely.
