There were many good things about the man, namely at the moment that he didn't absolutely loose it at having a dragon wrapped around his ankle, and learning that his friend had created said dragon.

"Well, I can't make any promises." On the foot, not under it. Sabel eyed the hem of Simon's pantleg. "Though I can say given he's born of a marble, he's more likely to run and roll than attack." If it had been made from something like a venus flytrap, well that would be another story entirely.

An indignant hiss came from under Simon's pantleg as the man try to coo-coax it out of hiding, the dragon poking his head out briefly to stick his tongue out at the two of them, before disappearing under the hem of the pant.

Sabel glanced up sheepishly at his friend.

He supposed he could just cancel the spell. Only problem with that would be that he couldn't exactly see where the dragon was, and if he did, it would turn back into a marble and roll all the way down the hallway. Probably into some dark corner too. He really didn't want to loose the marble, his daughter had entrusted it to him after all.

So there was the thought of simply ending the spell running through Simon's mind, returning the faux dragon to its normal marble self. It would make it somewhat easier given they wouldn't have to deal with a semi-sentient creature who was currently hiding on his person. But then there was the aspect of whether or not this was Sabel's dragon or that of another and whether or not ending the spell was a decision they actually had. The other man certainly didn't seem to be in the position to want to do anything along that path.

Yeah, he saw that sheepish look, Dakest.

Which meant he still had a pant buddy.

A hiss coming from his pant leg wasn't very promising. Nor the small head that stuck out to greet them before returning to its hiding space at his ankle. "My pocket is a better spot...or the shoulder..." he suggested, wondering if a marble-turned-dragon had the reasoning of an actual creature in this situation. His pet bat, which was the closest thing he had experienced to the miniature dragon, had certainly enjoyed those choices of perch. So he supposed it was worth a try to try and coax it somewhere other than its current hiding spot.
