Sophie grinned and nodded at Dot's words. "Good." She hadn't thought that it was a scary situation, but moreso that Dot would be scared that Soph would do something wrong and let her fall. But this was good - it meant Dot trusted her, which was a nice relief and very reassuring. A good boost of her own confidence, even.
"S'a good idea. Maybe he'll love our application of science to this so much that he'll give us extra credit if he finds out it was us. Then we can be HIS favorite students, too." That was obviously a reference to how they were already Culloden's favorites, but why not add another professor to their arsenal of future references, hm? Never hurt to have more professionals to fall back on.
At the girl's order, Sophie's smile broadened and she flicked her wand from its holster on her wrist and gave it a swish and flick at the chair Dot was on, "Wingardium Leviosa!" With the utmost care, the Ravenclaw smoothly levitated the girl right on up toward the ceiling, halting the upward projection just enough below the ceiling that Dot could reach to place the stars on it. "Have at it. Point wherever you wanna go next, and I'll direct ya there."
