Afraid to move even slightly in case it scared off the Unicorn, Lux watched the creature cautiously approach. It was so beautiful and she couldn't believe that she was going to pet one. If only they could do the same with baby dragons and she could have a mermaid friend.
When the Unicorn was close enough, Lux slowly moved her hand outwards with the palm facing upward. The animal was obviously being cautious, but it did proceed to sniff at her hand. She would stand as still as possible until she got the sign that it was okay to pet it.
How could an animal be so beautiful.
After what felt like forever but was actually a few minutes, the Unicorn licked her palm. That meant that it liked her and she was allowed to pet it. This was awesome and one of her favourite Care of Magical Creatures lessons so far. |
