Paulie nodded. "'Thick o' the action.'" Sounded about right. Well, it seemed like she was pretty fond of it. And Tori had been at the Daily Prophet for a good amount of time now, so she probably got on with at least some of the people by now. Like, for example, old watcher-man Jorge over here, keeping an eye out for her.

Tori couldn't maintain her analytical expression for very long with Paulie making faces at her. "Maybe... I should hold off on the analyzin' til we've hung out a few more times," she repeated him in a spot-on impression. Then she let out a laugh. Yeah, she saw what you were up to, Foster. "And Louisa. I've been meaning to get a hold of her. All the more reason now, so we can all hang out." And so Tori agreed with Paulie, for once, and reached out to pat him affectionately on the knee again.

So, no answer to the single question? Hmmmmm Tori was totally going to have to poke Louisa for that one. "Hah," she rolled her eyes at the finger-licking. "You know they make hair gel for that, so you don't have to use your spit. You'd think a proper WWN newsman would be able to afford some! Don't they pay you enough over there?" Guess that was just another reason the Prophet was the superior news outlet, hehe. She enjoyed teasing him.

And speaking of teasing... was Paulie really eying up Jorge again? What was he implying with that comment about action, hmm? "Oi, De La Garza..." she called out to the Spaniard, popping up from her chair to lean over the small divider between their desks. "I have someone for you to check over. If he doesn't meet your approval, you can take him out back for a talk." She winked at her co-worker to let him know that she was just joking, but that he should TOTALLY play along.
