Analyzing people was kind of Tori's thing as per her column, so it happened that she were naturally analyzing Paulie. He HAD changed, she knew it. But... "I don't know," the redhead had to admit, "which kind of change it is yet." She gently tapped her chin with her index finger, giving him a deeper look. Which did HE think it was, hmm?
She actually laughed at his self-given reason for how he'd changed. "Why IS that? I mean, that has to be it.... are you not hitting me because I'VE changed?" Was it the professional attire? "Or is there someone special in Paulie Foster's life?" Tori tilted her head and fluttered her eyelashes a little bit. She could get used to talking to Paulie like this again, like they were friends almost. Wouldn't it be nice to have friends again?
Tori shrugged. "Yeah, it's alright. Always something different every day." Minus the writing task... that didn't change. "I like being in the thick of the action." And she LOVED having her ear to the ground. Tori had a lot of good connections here.
