Instead, he entered with a biiiig smile and bowed at the Headmistress.
"Helloooo everyone!" Including the lovely Myrtle. "I hope I didn't miss anything?" He stuck his hands in his pockets and wiggled a little. Clearly the pockets were enlarged. After a few seconds, he brought out a notebook and pencil, then griiiiiinned at them. "You haven't missed anything," Anastasia warmed up when the Cartographer Expert came in. He seemed to know what he was doing, always, which was quite encouraging even in the face of a ghost and Merlin knew what else in the Chamber of Secrets. "We're about to explore the chamber beneath the school," she leaned in to whisper to him. Quote:

Annie tried hard not to roll her eyes at Myrtle's demand to get something in return. At least she was focusing her attention on the Gryffindor boy who reminded her so much of her son, only a wee bit older... Quote:

With a great aching, echoing, scraping sound, the sink Zeke spoke to began to move backward and up. Pipes slid into place and out of place and the wall beneath the stone sink opened up in a hole with a six-foot diameter.
This was the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. Why don't you sliiiiiide right on down and see what lurks beneath Hogwarts? "I don't speak it, no," the redhead started to pipe up in response to Zeke. But there was no need to, apparently, as the boy managed to open the Chamber all on his own! The redhead gasped and took a step forward to better see the opening to the Chamber.
Looks like it was time to go on a slide!
"Everyone, let's explore!" she called out wildly, clearly inspired by the excitement of seeing the opening to something she'd only ever read about in History books. "Who wants to go first? To the Chamber, everyone!" She took up a spot by the opening and started ushering the children in. Best one of them go down first.
