"Ice. Small slow steps should work, if you slid to much I'll help you." She remained her partner quietly.
She had managed to stay relatively upright as she’d taken the first step onto the slippery ice patch, but Brooklyn faltered as she felt Hady slide a little. Thankfully, the other Slytherin had steadied herself just as quickly, so it seemed like they were on their way. “I know,” she said quietly, back to taking her baby steps as the bubble wrap allowed. She couldn’t go any faster if she wanted to, and honestly, she did want to. She just didn’t want to slide and end up in a pile more than she didn’t want to be the last to finish. She trusted Hady that much. They both had a survival instinct after all.

Slowly inching forward several feet, she hadn’t realized she’d begun holding her breath until her foot hit less slippery ground again and s he’d let it go. Okay. Now they could really get moving, but first she waited to make sure Hady was still at her side. It wouldn’t work very well if the parcel got to the end before their postgirl after all, but she still didn’t want to stay in one place too long.

After a moment or two, she began taking baby steps again, reaching out to steady herself on a fence that as blocking the lane next to hers just so she wasn’t depending on Hady too much. She knew she wasn’t about to fall, anyway. She was too determined not to fall for the opposite to happen, even given the fact she was burrito-ed up in the bubble wrap. Moving forward was good. The growling she suddenly heard coming from one side was so very not good, and she chanced a look in that direction as she continued moving. “Um, Hady. There’s a dog over there who doesn’t look very happy about us being here,” she said just as quietly, as if said dog might hear. Once again, she wished she could have brought Tywin along. Her cat could’ve beat the stuffed dog easily, but he wasn’t there. Just her and Hady, and she was going to keep moving forward.
