"You're wel---" Benny said about to say he was welcome when Adi spoke dejectedly about AJ not being around to make him care either way. Forget the Hufflepuff's words of prodding...it was that that brought the Gryffindor back to pushing and rolling his bubble-wrapped companion along. He had to continue to push his friend both physically and metaphorically out of his slump.
"Rolling along..." he mused as he gained speed again with his rolling now that he had started them up again. No more doggies for them...he wouldn't let them come close. And the finish line was oh so close.
He could feel it.
"So we out rolled the doggie?" Adi was slightly disappointed. Anyway.
"Are we almost there yet?" Not that he wanted the fun to end but because of the rolling, most of the bubbles had popped and he was starting to feel the effects of the ground against his body. He voiced this to his bestie.
"I think I'm good for a few more rolls but you should pick me up if we aren't there soon.'' Mhmmm. He totally was not being bossy.
Annnnd they were moving again! Rolling along... LOL. Since when did Benny get so funny? Adi shut his eyes as they moved along or as Benny would put it, rolled along. He no longer cared about mud puddles so yeah. Bring them on!
