"I usually don't go in for adding layers, Tobes." Patpatpat. She patted his shoulder. And then they were on the move and in front of their lane. She started them down it, looking at the obstacle in front.

"A patch of ice, that isn't so bad. Lets just skate over it, I'll go first and you can hold onto my shoulders." Or her waist or whatever. "Four legs are better for balancing than two or something right?" Running start? Yes! Running start! She grabbed his hand and ran at the ice.
