They were ready! They were! Hayden waddled her way over to a lane. She couldn't look behind her to see if Kate was coming too because she felt that if she tried to turn her body while moving, she might move over. So she waited until she stopped and turned her entire body to look behind her to make sure Kate was coming. Though she didn't know what she was going to do if she wasn't.
"Ready?" She stood at the beginning of the lane and looked down. It looked clear at the moment, but the professor had mentioned obstacles. She figured some things would appear later. Wonderful.
Oh, AWESOME! This activity sounded like so much fun. Kate couldn't wait to get started and honestly hoped they came upon something like an ice slide. Something that would be fun and games, even though they were supposed to be learning. She knew that was what the professor had intended anyway. She cast a glance toward Hayden, but her parcel was already walking away and into a lane.
Okay. Guess they were heading to this one, which was fine.
"Just so you know, I'm not really strong," Kate admitted, getting into the lane next to Hayden. She just hoped they didn't encounter something that called for her to pick up her parcel and run.
"What do you think we'll run into?" she added. She walked along with her arm on Hayden's back, pretending to be someone carrying a package.
