The announcement from the professor hardly was met with any acknowledgment from Brooklyn. She didn’t need to say anything, after all. If they weren’t finished with their discussion, that wasn’t her fault. She’d turned blue eyes to the blonde Claw as the girl had spoken to her, however. So her name was Kate. That should be easy to remember. A lot easier than trying to decipher what exactly they were talking about when Arithmancy still seemed confusing to her. Plus, honestly all she really cared to remember about Ginny Weasley Potter was that she was a ginger like her. It meant she was a little bit awesome.
“Why are those two different?,” she asked once Hady had finished speaking. “It’s all love, whether she loves her boyfriend or her family. Friends.” Ginny obviously had picked the right side. That was the only things she cared to know. That and the ginger thing. She remembered some stuff about Quidditch, too, from the stories. She paid attention to Quidditch stuff because of her daddy. “Anyway, so then we’re saying that one sounds like her, or at least that she fits that explanation. What about the other one?” Also known as the number she’d had to find. She referred to the book Hady had helpfully spun around.
Hady lifted her shoulders in a shrugging motion to Brooklyn's question on difference in loving family, friends or a boyfriend. She wasn't about to get into how loving different people was just different. It wasn't the time nor place and even if it was she still wasn't bound to talk about it. As of now it didn't. They all were basically in agreement on the first number so it was good to move on.
Just as she shifted over to read the info on the next number from her textbook Brooklyn spoke up to give her thoughts on it. Remaining quiet for a brief moment to think it over Hady had to agree with her friends thoughts. This number too spoke of loyalty and hard work. "Yeah, this one is very much like the first. So I guess it's safe to say Ginny wouldn't really change much as she would always remain loyal to those that matter to her and she always gave her all with everything she did. Whether it was in battles, training or Quidditch." |
