Hady agreed with a nod of her head confirming her agreement on the matter. Now that they were partners what was next? She understood the slight lack of enthusiasm. Brooklyn hardly trusted anyone else at Hogwarts either, but then she also knew it would be a lot better having a partner who she knew rather than just some other student. Or the professor, which could have been even worse. She didn’t know why they were told to partner up in the first place, but at least she was with another snake. One who she knew was at least close to deserving of her attention. Hady was cool, that wasn’t a question. Partnering up with her should be fun, no matter what they were doing.
“Okay,” she replied, returning the nod as well. They didn’t need to say much more than that. Slytherin communication skills. If only everyone else had those, but then, she didn’t really want that. She liked being better than people, and right now she just wanted to know what they were going to be asked to do. Not to mention there was the question of why they’d been asked to line up at the front of the room in the first place. What rearranging was going to happen with the desks and everything.
