SPOILER!!: 1st question
Placing the marker she was using down, Meredith walked to the front of her desk and leaned against it. ”Let’s focus on muggle professions. There are all kinds of fields that muggles can go into to make a living but for today, we’ll be talking about the importance of communication and the way in which muggles get letters and parcels from one place to another. If anyone was paying attention to Mr. Tempus earlier, he noticed that I was wearing a post-person’s vest.” Meredith did a little turn, showcasing the item of clothing with a smile. ”Can anyone tell the class something they know about muggle mail and how it works?

Ah, so she was looking like a postman. Cool. AJ was not on her game with everything that has been going on in her life so attention to details were not her thing right now. It was more than enough trouble just getting herself to the correct classes and on time.

Oh, she knew this one. One of the great things about coming from an all muggle family was that you knew muggle things. Her hand waved in the air. ”It’s against the law to open up someone else’s mail.” Fun facts, she was full of them.

SPOILER!!: 2nd question
These answers, these are the ones that had the most to do with what they’d be focusing on for the rest of class. Meredith grinned at each, though she wasn’t as amused with Ms. Greyvson’s performance as the girl probably thought she should be. ”Their hard work really isn’t something to joke about, honestly.” The brunette raised an eyebrow at the prefect and then turned her attention to the rest of the class. ”It is something I would like to discuss further, though. As several of your classmates mentioned, postmen and women work in all kinds of weather conditions and have to deal with both people and, on occasion, neighborhood pets. All of this is done while carrying large bags full of letters and/or large parcels that need to be delivered and most do it with a smile.” Honestly, they did.

”This is a matter of opinion, of course, but can anyone tell me what sort of personality traits would be ideal for a person working in a profession like this?”

It would take a special kind of person to work in those conditions if you asked her. AJ wouldn’t be bothered by the weather, and she loved animals… no issues there either.

What could she contribute? Normally she tried to pay attention to what everybody else was saying, but her brain decided to take a vacation while she was in mourning, and the professor was just going to get what she got. Her hand was raised, so that was something. ”You would definitely need to be patient.” People that lost their patience easily would not be a good fit. Could you imagine getting bit by a dog, and then all of a sudden a down pour happens and ALL of your letters get drenched. Talk about a super bad day. That wouldn’t go over well at all with those impatient people.
