This question was directed towards her best friend, one who was overly excited for such an occasion. Merlin, it was just Hogwarts. "If people got less attractive, at least we'd have something to gossip about." Sigh. Life was hard. Also, "Seen my husband anywhere?" Handsome guy in the leather jacket, yeah? He'd be hard to miss. Mwahahahaha.
Amanda stayed with her arms out stretched at the rest of the Gryffindor table who just went on with their business not minding her at all. Which was fiinneeeee because that was what used to happen back in the day as well. TOTES FINE, man.
She glanced behind her shoulder to see Charlie leaving her business cards all over. "Oh yeah, you still owe me that t-shirt for the free advertising." Mandy knew, she had done such a GREAT job, she deserved all of the t-shirts of the shop. But she was too nice and cool so she'd let Charlie keep some to sell. Just because she was the BEST friend there was. Mandy was.
The 29 year-old couldn't help but toss her head back as she laaaaaaaaaaaaughed at Charlie's comment on people's attractiveness. She had to scope the table to see if her best friend was right. She probably was, although Mandy and Charlie had VERY different tastes. "Boo, I can't see anyone." Anyone they knew, that was. And if she had seen her husband? "I'm glad I haven't." No offense. Gulping, Derek Meriwether still wasn't sure if coming to this reunion had been a good idea. The former Gryffindor tried to go as unnoticed as possible. Truth be told, he was there mainly for the memories. Those had been one of the best years of his life and there was a glimpse of hope in him that he would feel a lot better just by going there and being reminded of it all.
And Merlin, was he right. Even though he was nervous - because SO may people, argh - as soon as Derek's eyes fell upon the enchanted ceiling his breath was taken away once again. That felt wonderful and it was almost as if he were 11 again. If only...
Not wanting to talk to anyone just yet or at all, the Potioneer tried to quietly make his way towards his usual seat at the end of the table.
